Overview

Rajasthan’s delightful Pink City ‘Jaipur’, was the fortress of a family of rulers whose three hill forts and series of royal residences in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City in light of the shade of the stone utilized solely in the walled city, Jaipur’s bazaars offer weaved embroidered leather shoes, blue stoneware, tie and dye scarves and other intriguing products. Western Rajasthan itself frames a helpful circuit, in the core of the Thar desert which has molded its history, ways of life and engineering.
